The
beginning to the end
Chapter 1.
Where to begin, well the beginning is always a nice place to start, all
right then it began 300 years ago. Well before now I had indeed spent
some time searching for the perfect sireling.
I was looking for a human worthy of the gift of vampirism, for some
reason I kept to my own high standards; thin, well built and a fighter,
the qualities that I myself often prized in the hunt.
Every time I went out to hunt, I would spend many hours just watching
the humans that were my prey, not moving till I could see into there
soul, there gestures and body language told me everything I needed to
know about them. Each victim proved pathetic and cowardly, many
didn’t want to die and begged for a chance to live, as always I
refused, each and every time my hopes of finding a suitable candidate
where shattered into many pieces.
Despite over a hundred years of setbacks I finally found the one
I was looking for his name was…. Jack.
Jack proved an odd case he was resilient and often rebelled against my
training and guidance, he reminded me of a much younger version of
myself, the memories seemed to only spark my will to teach the young
creature to live as I had learnt to.
With my own past in my head I often forgot that Jack was still nearly
human, the fool still seemed to cling to the memories of his humanity
and a hope for death.
I often pondered on the subject of death, it was so easy to take a life
and to give one as well, something that was fascinating to me was how
frail humans could be, a simple broken neck would kill the humans
instantly, fast kills weren’t really my style I preferred to see
how much the different humans could take before there life was stripped
from them. It was interesting to see what humans could accomplish if
used as mind slaves they could hardly take a few broken bones but if
controlled there bodies would last several years and could be used as
food afterwards as well.
One night as I stood in my tower looking out into the horizon, the view
that I had seen for centuries I knew every inch of the landscape yet I
saw something change the night sky had two stars that I had failed to
notice. In all my years of looking at the land I had never really
bothered to look at the sky, the night sky had so many stars. At that
moment I thought about how foolish I was not to see the stars and moon,
the moon looked ghostly pale behind the thin layer of clouds.
As the clouds dispersed I noticed a crimson ring around the pale orb,
humans usually took a red ring around the moon as a sign of a persons
death in the night, and for good reason.
My thirst was beginning to make its self known to me and so I slowly
made my way out of the tower and past the dungeon, I looked in on Jack
who gave me a venomous glare, my eyes must have flashed a crimson red
at that moment because I saw the sireling flinch at my expression.
“I’ll be back soon,” I said, turning on my heel, I
could sense that he rolled his eyes, at that moment I wanted to slap
him but I refrained from doing so and went out to hunt, my mood was
influenced by that glare of hatred from Jack.
He still hadn’t gotten over the fact that being a vampire and
living with me, maybe I had been to lenient with him and let him get
away with being a disrespectful little rat, but I couldn’t really
bring myself to force him to obey me that would be cruel even for me.
As I went towards my usual hunting grounds, I stopped and smelled the
air, it didn’t really smell any different, no there was something
odd about it. Silver…
There was a slayer in the area, not really much of a threat but more of
a nuisance, I heard the blade coming from behind me, whirling around I
grabbed it seeing a young slayer on the other end.
“Oh god you, your that elder they talk about.” he
said staring up at me his blade nearly slipped from his hand as he
tried to back away.
I looked at him for a moment just standing there, I smiled seeing the
glint of my fangs glisten in his eyes, he dropped the blade in front of
me and ran, I picked up the well crafted sword admiring the blades
lethality.
“I hate fast food” I thought to myself throwing the
blade at its owner, it flew at him spinning through the air, the human
turned to see what the odd sound was only to see his own blade flying
at him.
I watched as his body fell with a dull thud and blood began to pool
from the wound in his neck, his head lay near by the shocked expression
still painted so clearly on his face.
Kneeling down beside the corpse looking at the pooling crimson liquid
as it left his body, the wound on his neck was pouring out blood, I
dipped my fingers into the wound letting the warmth of the blood
disappear on my own cold flesh. Soon I began to drink the blood
escaping from the wound, it was getting cold, there wasn’t the
usual warmth in it that could normally be found in a living human, I
didn’t mind that the blood was cold, it was blood and that was
all that mattered.
As I pulled away from my feast, I felt a disturbance back at the
castle, “Jack ”I hissed nearly jumping up, the fool had
clearly tried to take his life because I could feel his life fading
away slowly.
Growling in frustration as I came to the castle, the boy clearly
hadn’t learnt that there was no way out, at that moment I knew
that I had to do whatever I was capable of to teach him manners and to
make sure that this didn’t happen again.
“Oh my boy you chose a bad time to do something this
stupid.” I said mostly to myself feeling anger build inside of
me, I could smell his blood, walking over to the dungeon where his
chambers where situated I found him lying on the floor his wrists where
slashed, He looked up at me with a look of self-pity.
I healed him just a little to stop the blood flowing from the
gashes, the smell of his blood nearly made me retch, I couldn’t
stand to see him doing this because, it showed weakness he wasn’t
supposed to be weak he was supposed to be a fighter, I would make him
one even if it killed me I swore to myself that he would become the
sireling that I had searched for, for those 100 years.
No matter how long it took, no matter what method I had to use, he
would be the creature that I wanted him to be.
I clicked my fingers and several of my demon servants dragged the boy
away, I sighed knowing that the next night would truly be hard for both
of us.
Walking up to the tower, something inside me sparked and I remembered
that female that Jack had always cried about, Emily was her name, she
did have beautiful eyes but unfortunately she didn’t live long to
use them very well. A smile spread across my face as I sat there in my
comfortable arm chair looking out to the sky it was nearly dawn and so
shutting the crimson curtains I stared up at the ceiling wondering and
thinking of what I would do to punish Jack for his pathetically weak
attempts at escape.
All I knew was that no matter how hard I had to push him, no matter
what I had to do, I would one day make him see me as his master and
show me the respect that I deserved.
Still smelling his blood on my fingers I liked of the remains of the
blood, it tasted almost identical to the way it had tasted when he was
human, a plan came to my mind and so I knew exactly what I had to do to
make him learn.
Chapter 2
When night fall came, I went down to Jacks quarters, not knocking on
the door I walked in seeing his slightly unnerved expression like he
knew that he had done something wrong and was going to be punished yet
there was a glint of defiance in his eyes.
“What do you want Orlock,” He hissed at me.
I looked at him blankly as if not phased by the attitude, “I came
to see how you where doing after your little self-mutilation,” I
smiled seeing him look down at the bandages on his wrists.
“Why the hell would you care,” He snarled at me, “Why
don’t you just fuck off and leave me alone,” He nearly
yelled.
I smiled, grabbing him by the hair, “you’re my sireling
Jack, if I leave you alone you’ll die because you’re a weak
foolish fledgling that doesn’t know any manners” I hissed
at him, I could see a glint of fear in his eyes, he struggled in my
grip flinching as he tried to pull away from me.
Pinning him to the wall and digging my nails into his flesh seeing
blood pool from the small cuts in his shoulder.
“I know manners but I’m not going to waste them on
you,” He snarled practically spitting in my face.
At that moment I snapped completely, “Well there’s no one
else to waste them on, and trust me if you die you won’t see that
bitch of yours because there is no heaven or hell and nothing can bring
back that little slut of yours.” I hissed in his ear digging my
nails into his shoulder letting my fingers explore the wound feeling
the bone underneath I slowly took my fingers out from the wound making
him wince slightly, he glared at me the venom in his eyes was evident.
Looking into his eyes I saw the memory of Emily that he had always had
in his mind, keeping him from moving I used my mind powers to summon
the shadows of the past, to make him remember the fact that she was
dead and the fact that he was a vampire.
The tears streaming down his face made it all the more worthwhile; I
let him go making him slump against the wall in tears. Never before had
I used mind powers against him like this but now I knew that this would
suffice for minor punishments but as for training well other methods
would be required.
“You monster, I’ll never obey you no matter what you do
I’ll never obey you, you crazy fuck.” He screamed at me.
Getting out my dagger I kneeled down next to him, “You’ll
surrender eventually my boy, believe me you will.” I smiled
cutting into the skin near the wound on his shoulder and starting to
dig the blade deeper into his skin till the dagger was up to the hilt
in his flesh, Seeing him grimace in pain, I slid the dagger out of the
wound before grabbing him by the hair and flinging him across the room.
In a spilt second I threw the dagger at him, it hit him in the chest
pinning him to the wall.
Seeing a trail of blood come from his mouth, wiping the blood away with
my fingers and licking the crimson liquid from my flesh, he looked up
at me the pain in his crimson colored eyes was evident.
“Never,” he whispered the tears streamed down his
face joining the blood from his wounds. I pulled out the dagger from
Jacks flesh and sheathed it, he had almost hit the floor when I caught
him and pulled him towards the torture chamber.
I heard him mentally scream out, begging for this to be a dream or even
a night mare, the boy just didn’t want to face reality.
A click of my fingers made the iron cuffs snake there way around his
wrists and ankles holding his body almost a foot above the floor,
“Time for training my dear boy,” I said plainly waving my
hand as the cuffs began to pull in different directions ever so slowly.
He looked up at the ceiling closing his eyes, “Not again,”
Jack whispered to himself.
The boy’s body tensed as the cuffs began to put a strain on his
arms, tears surfaced once more in his eyes as I heard a joint get
pulled out of place, then another and another. Walking out of the
torture chamber leaving him there I heard a scream as not only the
bones where ripped out of place but the muscles and tendons began to
snap.
Walking through the castle I heard his pained screams knowing that he
would one day be so much stronger than he is was now.
A wave of relief washed over me because I knew that training for now
was finished and the young sireling could heal up for yet another
lesson soon, at least I wouldn’t have to endure any more of his
annoying glares of hatred.
The night air was crisp and fresh as usual, no signs of anything
strange anywhere just humans in the town, I decided to play a game of
cat and mouse with a few humans, I had always loved to work for my
food, running after it wasn’t my style but still to see just how
fast I could move would be interesting.
I found a nice little bridge with a few people on it, walking up behind
the two humans, I grabbed the female twisting her neck around and
draining her in a matter of seconds, as the male human looked around to
see the other dead on the ground he backed away towards the edge of the
bridge.
“Nice night for a swim,” I laughed coming towards the man,
he had reached the railing of the bridge, rusty rail snapped under the
strain of him leaning against it and he fell down into the water below
spluttering as he surfaced, I watched as he started to swim to shore,
looking up I saw a large boat coming towards him.
Hearing his screams get drowned out by the roar of the boats engines
and seeing the boat jump slightly as he was dragged into the whirling
blades of the motor, was amusing the smell of blood mixed with water
soon filled the air and I made my way back to the castle admiring the
stars and moon, the ring around the moon hadn’t gone anywhere in
fact it had grown slightly bigger tonight.
Smiling at the sight of my castle, my sanctuary.
Jack was half asleep, in the torture chamber, I waved my hand and he
was released from his bounds he got up groggily barely able to walk,
one of my demon servants brought in an unconscious human for him to
feed from but he just moved away and didn’t bother to even look
at it, so my servants moved in and began to eat the flesh from the body
of the human.
I gladly made my way to the tower after the long and tiring
night, practically collapsing in my arm chair I spent the day staring
at the ceiling as usual, wondering about what kind of a story the
humans would think of to explain the deaths of the humans at the
bridge, the human news was shown on a thing called TV it was basically
just a box full of microchips and wires that showed other humans,
basically something similar to a palenthier but with electricity and
not manna.
“Another night, another kill,” I sighed to myself, licking
my lips to get several drops of blood that hadn’t been wiped off
yet I ran my tongue over my fangs feeling a small bit of flesh stuck
between my teeth.
I hated it when that happened, sighing I managed to pry the chunk
of meat from my teeth with my nail spitting it out seeing a rat running
around through the tower, one of my smaller servants about the size of
a cat ran after the rat and swallowed it in one bite slurping up the
tail as it nearly choked on the struggling rat.
Smiling slightly I got out one of my ancient vampire lore books and
began to read it for the 200th time.
Remembering that spell for using humans as slaves it was something that
I hadn’t done in a few decades and so I began to memorize the
incantation for it again. It was a rather odd spell but still it worked
very well and humans lasted much longer while under the magic, they
proved to be very efficient servants, which always fascinated me
Chapter 3
I must have dozed off because I saw my past flashing before my eyes,
she was there, her face and those eyes those lonely sad eyes, Clara.
Her long blonde/brown hair, her eyes, but still she was all too human.
I shook the memory from my head, I remembered Jacks old human bitch,
and she looked a little like Clara not her face or anything but her
eyes, those eyes would stay with me for eternity.
Clara was a human, and I was just a young Vampire, she loved me not
knowing what I was, what I truly was.
She was my first kill on my own without any help from my guards or
servants, I could still remember the smell of her hair, “I love
you,” where her last words before I tore at her flesh, and that
dazzling light of life faded from her beautiful eyes.
Ever since then, I had always loved to see that light fade in the eyes
of those around me weather human or vampire, any creature that had at
least a breath in there lungs and some form of blood in its veins would
die, each kill seemed like my first, and every time I wanted to
experiment with the lives of the creatures around me.
Jack was just another toy; the training was similar to what I had put
many of my victims through seeing how long he would last until he would
crack under the strain.
The young creature seemed to have a strong will, but even the strongest
of emotions and desires can be crushed eventually, even death had been
surpassed and spat at when I turned him, as a human he would have died
in a second but as a vampire he would live for eternity.
A few months after his first attempt at suicide came more and more
attempts, I was growing tired of his weakness, his struggles to get
free, I didn’t understand why he didn’t embrace the gift
that I had given him, by now he should have learnt that there was no
way out.
As I sat there in my sanctuary I heard him crying again, he had been
dreaming of his human life again. It had been a few days since his last
training and I was getting rather annoyed at the fact that he still
resisted my guidance and teachings.
Walking down from the tower I saw the torches on the walls flicker as a
cold breeze blew through the empty corridors, to the main hall, sitting
on my favorite large throne like chair I summoned Jack to see me. I
heard him walking into the corridor from his chambers.
“Did you sleep well my boy,” I asked, looking at him
smelling the salty tears that had been wiped up by his sleeve, he
glared at me.
“None of your business,” He said looking at the floor, but
under his long black hair I could still see that look so filled with
venom.
I got up from my chair, I had taken his insolent tone for long enough,
“It is my business, Jack” I said casting a shadow over him,
still he didn’t look up even when I was talking to him up close.
I swung out and slapped the foolish creature making him fly into the
wall, he looked up at me in shock, “Look at me when I’m
talking to you, and stop being an insolent little fool,” I hissed
at him as he stood up giving me a venomous glare once more, he had
several deep gashes in his face from where my nails had hit him.
The odd shimmer of confusion was evident as the shine of fear in his
eyes, walking towards him I picked him up by the throat, “Why do
you always make things so hard on yourself Jack?” I asked in a
disappointed tone, seeing him look away again.
Tightening my grip on his neck, made him struggle even more so, in my
grasp. “Because I won’t listen to a monster” he
choked out. “Well your and me are one by blood, Jack,” I
cooed keeping my firm grip around his neck, “You must want a
drink,” I said blankly as a girl was dragged screaming towards
the torture chamber.
“Let go of me,” hissed Jack digging his nails into the
flesh on my wrist. Looking at the open door of the torture chamber I
flung him inside and shut the door he would feed from the female, I
would make sure of it even if the thirst nearly killed him, he would
feed eventually.
I saw the shadow of the cowering girl in the corner, “Jack its up
to you how she dies, I’ll come back and set you free in a week
and if she’s not dead well I suppose I shall have to do it for
you, but she will spend a few hours in one of my charming little
devices first,” I laughed looking up at the hanging sharp cuffs
and torture racks in the chamber.
He screamed mentally, the wave of anger only sparked the thirst that
had already gnawed at him for these past few months, lasting another
week would surely be almost impossible for him.
Every day that went by I felt his thirst building, the self-control
that he usually had had begun to crack and on the fifth day he had
given into his instincts and fed.
Walking into the torture chamber I saw him pull away from the corpse of
the girl, the blood stained his shirt and fangs; he looked up at me
with a glint of self-disgust in his eyes. “I see you chose to
give her the easy way out, “I laughed, knowing that my sireling
had finally begun to show signs that my training and lessons where
talking there toll.
The thoughts that where going through his head where a vast maze of
confusion, hatred and disgust, yet somewhere in that tangled web there
was a shine of relief that he had made the girls death so much quicker
than it could have been.
“Monster,” He said referring to me, as he gazed at the
floor, he had his own demons to deal with now.
“We are one and the same my boy,” I smiled, turning my back
on him, “no you’re a monster, and I’m nothing like
you,” He whispered.
“What do you think you are my boy, Jack you must understand your
no longer human and no matter what you do you will live the life I gave
you,” I said smiling at him and turning on my heel to leave.
Hearing the sobs and smelling the tears that fell down his pale face as
the waves of emotions hit him, I didn’t bother to turn around but
added, “would you rather go back to this,” I smiled,
focusing my power on replaying the events of the night he was turned,
the massacre on the bridge and many other kills of both myself and the
vampires I had known over the years.
“Please don’t,” He begged me as the visions repeated
in his mind every detail of the deaths of the humans was replayed and
was joined each time by several more memories and visions.
“Would you rather just be food, for a vampire? Would you rather
just be one of the humans under my control like the mind slaves? Or
even a human that was hunted down and killed for the sake of killing,
like that female of yours?” I hissed turning around to see his
pained expression, “Emily,” He whispered, clutching his
head trying to stop the torrential flood of memories and visions that
clouded his mind.
“Yes, I see you still remember, the one with the beautiful
eyes,” I laughed, “Seeing him flinch at the memory, of her
death. “It was a mercy killing, believe me she died quickly and
cleanly, much faster than I intended but I assure you it could have
been so much worse for her, would you rather have her die a slow
agonizing dead like the mind slaves or a quick and nearly painless
one?” I asked him wondering if he would even bother to answer me.
He looked up at me, and whispered, “No, I would have given my
life for her if I had to as long as she and Julia stayed alive,”
seeing the tears roll down his face knowing that tonight his sanity had
been shattered to an irreparable state, the once splintered sanity that
was once within him no longer existed.
Coming up to my tower I sat in my comfortable chair looking at
the ceiling as I had every night for the last few centuries.
Chapter 4
Since Jacks sanity was now no longer a problem, I knew that he would
soon have to give into my training and so in thinking this I was
correct.
The events that lead to this involved neither him trying to run away or
attempt to kill himself, no this time he tried to take my life…
It had been several months since the mental breakdown; jack had now
been with me for over five years. That night I had gone out hunting as
usual, nothing seemed to spark my interest, Jack was almost healed
since his last training session, I had succeeded in pushing the boy to
new limits in his pain threshold, he was slowly becoming stronger but
the training would be much easier if only he would agree for me to
teach him in the ways of the vampire.
As I walked down those dark streets illuminated only by a few street
lamps my I caught a very familiar scent, It was a human that I had run
into on the bridge almost 5 years ago, the smell of fear still stayed
in his presence and I could nearly smell the memories that plagued him.
Seeing my shadow stretching over the street in the dim light he whirled
around to face me, “You, you’re
the…one…bridge…that night…Dear god
…no not again… please not again,” He stuttered
backing away nearly tripping over his own feet.
“I see you remember,” I smiled the seeing the mask of
sheer terror, clearly the memories of the night on the bridge had
plagued him for many nights since the actual event had occurred 5 years
ago. Watching him run, I slowly raised my hand and the man was
paralyzed in mid stride as if frozen in time, a slight flick of the
wrist and he disappeared only to reappear in one of my charming little
devices in the torture chamber.
I decided to fly back to the castle instead of walking, this human
would prove quite the feast later in the night, Jack would need to feed
as well so I decided to keep the human fresh and delay torture for a
few hours at least until Jack could be easily be made to feed by
himself. Getting back to the castle I walked past Jacks room to find
him missing, he had probably tried another escape attempt and ran away.
Walking up the stairs of the tower to see if he was anywhere in the
view of the castle sitting down in my chair and looking out of the
tower window, I sighed closing my eyes and as I was about to get up I
smelt the unmistakable tang of metal in the air.
Feeling a slight pressure at my throat, looking down to see Jack beside
me holding a blade, I had no idea where he acquired it and I
didn’t really care, all I knew was that he would be sorry for
doing this.
Swiftly grabbing the sword and standing up I looked at him seeing the
fierce spark of determination in his eyes, I smiled knowing that he had
at least stopped sulking and crying. He finally found something to do,
even though it wasn’t my favorite choice of activity I knew that
he was determined to see this task done but unfortunately for him I
couldn’t allow it.
The young vampire tried to pull the sword from my grip but to no avail,
then letting go of the blade, he did something that I hadn’t
expected, he used a manna spell, for the first time in my life I felt
proud that Jack had the ability to cast such a powerful spell but I was
angry at the fact that he used it with an intention to do me harm.
Raising both my hands and casting a shield I was able to then use a
binding spell, seeing the mask of sadness and anguish, the look of
failure, disappointment and helplessness, the same look I had seen on
his face when I turned him.
He was dragged into the torture chamber, seeing as I was in a rather
foul mood, his punishment had been extremely severe, nearly a week of
torture of all kinds, every second had been agony and every moment was
like an eternity.
When he was healed just sufficiently, I decided to give him something
to focus on and something to stop him from ever attempting this type of
thing again… A guardian.
The human that I had found would do nicely, as he was dragged out to
another part of the castle the chamber of ritual I saw his face shimmer
with a remembrance as he saw the body of the human dragged into the
chamber along with him.
They were both tied on opposite sides of the room and there was a
special grove in the floor, Jacks wrists where cuffed with special
spiked cuffs while the human was attached to a platform like structure
that would later descend and submerge the man in Jacks blood.
As the blood trickled into the groves from the my sirelings wrists I
looked up and saw an odd shimmer of fear in the vampires eyes when he
looked at me, he had no idea what was happening. When the boys body had
been drained sufficiently I raised my hand so that the platform with
the human would lower, by now Jack was to light headed to remember
anything. So I started the ritual of binding, it would make this human
Jacks guardian, he would protect Jack from all dangers and stop him
from hurting himself or attempting to get himself into dangerous
situations.
The next night, as I sat upon my throne as Jack called it, I heard Jack
come into my sanctuary; He didn’t dare make eye contact as if
ashamed of what he had done.
“What is it you want Jack, are you going to try and kill me
again?” I asked in a cold tone looking up at him, my face was
mingled with annoyance and anger.
He paused, “No I…. I came to ask you to forgive me,”
He managed to say as he slowly turned his eyes from the floor to me.
“Why should I forgive you, you nearly took my head, personally I
think I’m been far too lenient with your punishment,” I
hissed rising from my chair.
“Please, I won’t do it again, I was foolish,” He said
taking a step back afraid to get caught between a wall and me.
“Your pathetic and desperate attempts have grown rather tiresome
for me so I will be keeping my word and not giving you any choice in
the matter of forgiveness.” I said walking towards him, seeing
his terrified expression. As he tried to take another step back I
grabbed him by the throat, “A few months in one of my charming
little devices should teach you to respect me and not try this
again.” I said my eyes glowing crimson.
“I beg you I’ve already learnt my lesson, please forgive
me…” He choked out through the tears that where running
down his face and onto my skin.
I smirked and my grip only tightened as I looked over towards the door
that led into the hall, in his mind waves of terror smashed into his
every thought every memory was wiped blank by the fear of what his
future would be like.
His feet where dangling inches above the floor, but this time something
was different, this time he wasn’t struggling to get away, I
dropped him to the ground seeing him get up and look at me with
confusion plastered across his face. I heard his guardian outside
trying to get inside.
Suddenly the door swung open and I saw his guardian Vallov if I
recalled correctly running in to aid Jack.
“Vallov NO,” Screamed Jack as the drone came towards me, I
whirled around and raised my hand sending a bolt of dark energy at the
creature. It collapsed before my feet and was the gasping trying to
regain control of its body as its eyes flashed lifelessly and it
twitched uncontrollably.
Jack looked on in horror not really knowing what had happened but
knowing that if he didn’t do something now he would get far worse.
He flung himself to the floor at my feet, “Please Orlock, forgive
me, please…Master,” He sobbed.
“If I forgive you will you train with me and let me teach you in
the ways of the vampires, teach you magic and how to survive, “I
said seeing him nod furiously. “And will you ever talk back or
try anything foolish like this again,” I asked, “No never
again Orlock,” He said standing up and bowing. With a smile I
said, “alright then go now blood of my blood, your training
begins tomorrow”
He forced himself to bow once more before helping his drone get up and
leaving my presence.
So that’s how it all began when Jack finally became my pawn, my
true student and sireling, ever since that time he has obeyed my orders
without question.
Chapter 5
Now it has been almost two centuries that Jack has been with me now,
now he had a sireling of his own, I’m glad that he finally turned
a human and made our blood line grow he has made many a friend in these
years for that I am glad also.
He has really come a long way since I found him as that pitiful human
with his bitch and weak little child, but he still seems to cling to
his humanity no matter how much time passes he still holds that memory
within his mind and refuses to let go of the past.
His sireling Jilliana looks almost like his mortal female, especially
her eyes I am beginning to feel that ever since her turning he has
become weaker for some reason, he may become the rebellious vampire I
once knew and broke.
I mused to myself as I stared out the window of my tower, I could sense
everything that was happening to him he was reminded of his humanity by
that sireling of his, she had spoken of his family and he had lashed
out at her. He had actually attacked her, as I felt his annoyance from
the wound that I had caused earlier and the anger with her I was
reminded of myself when I first began to teach him manners.
I felt the wind blow in my hair, I knew that there was a future ahead
such an amazing future, walking down into the torture chamber I found a
human, seeing its terrified expression as I dug my fangs into its flesh
and began to feed I was reminded of how frail the human body was.
As I pulled away I began to laugh almost hysterically the shrill
madness in my laugh echoed through my castle, biting down on my nail I
began to tear at the flesh of the human, ripping every scrap of meat
from the bones of the still living human, hearing it scream and looking
into its eyes as the light, that amazing dazzling light faded away and
was replaced with the beauty of death.
And so now where to end well this is the end but what lies ahead will
start a new beginning, and so then once more I shall have to ask myself
where to begin…
The end.
